DG Set Noise Compliance

The CPCB mandates that DG sets from 7.5 kVA to 2000 kVA must not exceed 75 dB(A) at 1 metre, with minimum 25 dB(A) insertion loss. KBG acoustic enclosures achieve compliance while maintaining full combustion and cooling airflow — no engine derating, no thermal shutdowns.

Fire & Smoke Compartmentation

Energy buildings are fire-regulated to NBC 2016. KBG UL 555 / UL 555S rated fire and smoke dampers, motorized control dampers, and gas-tight dampers protect duct penetrations through fire-rated walls in switchgear rooms, battery rooms, and cable galleries.

Louvers and grilles are sized from the plant's air-change and heat-rejection load, using deep-blade high-free-area louvers and low-pressure-drop terminals to move large volumes efficiently.
