What types of damper does KBG manufacture?
Opposed- and parallel-blade volume-control dampers (VCD), motorised and fusible-link fire dampers, combined fire/smoke dampers, back-draught (non-return) dampers and gas-tight isolation dampers for industrial ducts.
What is the difference between an opposed-blade and a parallel-blade damper?
Opposed-blade dampers give more linear, stable flow control and are preferred for balancing and modulation; parallel-blade dampers are typically used for open/close isolation. Which standards do your fire and smoke dampers meet?
Fire dampers are built and rated to recognised fire-test standards (e.g. UL 555 / relevant IS) for the required fire rating, with fusible-link or motorised actuation and factory leakage testing.
Do you provide actuators and control accessories?
